Meet the Pack

A founding duo, a couple of guest percussionists, and 30+ years of road-tested mountain blues from Roslyn to Boulder.

Two Guitars, One Howl

Jamey and FaeRaven write, sing, and play every note of the Ravinwolf sound. Decades of touring, dozens of stages, two voices that lean into each other like they've been doing it forever — because they have.

Jamey Bilyeu

Lead Guitar · Vocals · Songwriter

Boulder native and the band's lead voice and lead guitar. Three decades of stages have made him equal parts road-poet and slide-blues practitioner. Has shared the bill with Heart, Eric Burdon, Delbert McClinton, Elvin Bishop, The Outlaws, and Joe Walsh.

FaeRaven

Rhythm Guitar · Vocals · Songwriter

Co-founder and the band's haunting harmony voice. Trained on acoustic piano before picking up the rhythm guitar she now plays 100+ nights a year. Brings the moonlight to Jamey's sunlight — the band runs on the contrast.

From Roslyn to the Rockies

It started in Roslyn, Washington — the small mountain town better known as the fictional set of Northern Exposure. Jamey and FaeRaven met, started playing together, and quickly discovered the duo could do something a band couldn't: travel light and play anywhere.

The first chapter was a two-year tour of Alaska, working as a working acoustic duo from the panhandle up to Fairbanks. After that came a slow drift back south, eventually piloting a vintage school bus through the Pacific Northwest playing every café, festival, and brewery that would have them.

In 2010 the Washington Blues Society nominated them as Best Blues Duo, sealing the act's reputation as the real deal. Three years later, Jamey's hometown pulled them back — and Boulder, Colorado has been Ravinwolf's basecamp ever since.

What hasn't changed: two acoustic guitars, two voices, and an instinct for the kind of front-range storytelling that turns strangers into a crowd.
